| In their routine operation, modern enterprises needs a variety of software, which result in that the installation, management and maintenance of software require great consumption of manpower and materials, and the number of installation of software is uncontrollable and calculable. In this case, if a detecting system of automated installation and updating can be designed by computer technologies, the manpower costs of the IT departments will be reduced, and concurrently it can be guaranteed that software of licensing quantity will only be installed into designated clients’ computers, which will strengthen enterprises’competitiveness, enhance operation efficiency and save enterprises’costs.By analyzing current various schemes and referential documents home and abroad and aiming at enterprises’requirement, the paper designs a detecting system which can manage software packages and carry out automated renewal and updating. Because the system’s design and development are based on targets’ analysis and design methods, the automated renewal and updating of several issues are realized, including the system’s basic modules, software packages’ automated-detecting modules and software’s modules of automated downloading, renewal and updating. Enterprises’ current scales and future development are taken into consideration, and distributed software information data base and software packages’ storage servers realize a distributed mechanism of renewal and updating, which relatively balances loads.In practical operation, the software’s system of automated renewal and detecting solves several problems that enterprises encounter when they install and arrange software, including software management, staff costs and the control of licensing agreement, saves enterprises’ costs, enhances working efficiency and brings certain economic benefits. |
