The 21 th century development history of switching power supply technology shows that high power density, high efficiency, high reliability, and intelligentization are the development direction of the switching power supply.How to deal with the high Inrush current is the issue need to be faced for every designer. The paper designed a high-quality Inrush current control system which can control the input current in accurate way after the power on of power supplier. The system is able to switch the function modules in proper time according to different input voltage and charging progress during ponwer on, therefore the products can be used without the limitation of on/off switch times and can be used in worse temperature envirement. What’s the most important, the system can extend the life of power supply products.The paper analyzed the background and significance of the Inrush current control system firstly, and then raised the overall structure of the system, proposed periodic pulse charging and control method based on the system performance requirements. After that, the paper analized and calculated the parameters of system hardware, especially the Inrush current control module and the auxiliary power supply module which are belong to the system. Finally, we verified the good controllability of the system by experiments.
