Design Of Intelligent Tracking System

Video security guard monitoring system can reflect the monitored goal clearly、visible and veritable, it is expand the ability of human eyes, and replace people in the harshest environments. The system is widely used in everywhere nowadays, and the tendency of monitoring system will become more intelligent.Fixed camera and PTZ camera used respectively has some defect, it’s limited by location and coverage area very small. It’s hardly for people to influence the target of the monitoring.The design of this paper is base on the PTZ camera and fixed camera from KEDACOM, and set up a system of multiple cameras. Fixed cameras are responsible for overview record, they can recognize multiple targets and get the speed, size and coordinate of the target. PTZ cameras can track the target base on the information from fixed IPC. The system has many advantages: wide cover, tracking multi-target and high track accuracy. The contents of this paper are as follows:This paper describes the solution and related technical about the video security guard monitoring system of multiple cameras, the hardware and firmware design, panoramic stitching technology, the multi-target recognition solution, and multiple cameras linkage solution. Finally, this paper introduce the test software development from KEDACOM and debug the system, and tested respectively in factory, detention center, parking and so on.The result of the system test show the ability for differentiate up to 60 targets base on 3 fixed camera and drive PTZ cameras to track these different goals. The system have an important monitoring system application in the public security, enterprise and business office area.
