Network Function Assessment With VCF And SDN

As Internet+and IOT (Internet of Things) spread, the traditional broadband architecture of enterprise network cannot meet the demands.For example, some company, the current number of employer is 1500.the website access speed is slowing down significantly when Supervisory System of Power & Environment, Video Conference System, Portals Information Issue system, OA Office System and also others new business start operating gradually. Meanwhile, the requirement of mobile office is increasing; the workload for the maintenance of router Protocol, Authority Management, Network Security and so on is increasing significantly, which urgently needs to optimize the network design.This paper combining with engineering practice summarizes the problems occurring in routine maintenance and construction, and proposes a new solution.Its main content includes analyzing the current network status, re-designing broadband traffic architecture by virtualization and SDN which can enhance the internal network security, improve the user experience of accessing internet, meet the demand of various system application, and reduce the difficulty of O&M and the cost of human resource and expansion.This paper covers the whole network optimizing procedure including requirement analysis, design, implementation and verification. Implementation of the project can not only fix the trouble this company facing but also lays the foundation for further enterprise information development.The new technology implemented in the Network can also realize more new function via subscribing new application, in stead of new hardware investment.
