In the field of computer graphics, computer technology is a very important research subject. Among them, the simulation of dynamic scenes is a hot research topic in the field of computer sense of reality and virtual reality technology, which has great application value, such as animation,3D games, geographic exploration, film advertising, architectural design and other fields. In recent years, the natural scenery simulation has gradually become a hot topic in the research of dynamic scenery. But most of the natural scenery with complex shape and irregular motion state, such as turbulent waterfalls, bloom of fireworks, rolling waves and the splash of the fountain. Because of the difficulty of using traditional method to realize the dynamic scene, it is a very challenging task to simulate the dynamic scene.Particle system is generally recognized as the best method for simulating dynamic irregular objects. In this paper, based on three-dimensional fountain as simulation object, versatility and flexibility as the starting point,based on the basic idea of particle system theory, the paper presents a method for constructing the 3D abstract model based on the theory of particle system.Firstly, this paper systematically expounds the background and significance of the dynamic simulation of natural scenery, gives the purpose and significance of the research, and points out the main contents and innovation points of this paper. Then, the paper introduces some theoretical knowledge and related technologies of the particle system.Next, through the analysis of the movement mode of the fountain.A object is proposed to use a particle system to simulate the virtual fountain and complete the fountain’s whole parabolic movement process from the overflowing to the whereabouts by means of defining the initial properties, dynamic properties and material, adding the influence of external disturbance factors such as wind and gravity.Then, through the analysis of the appearance of fountain spray pool, the CV curve method of NURBS model are proposed, and the impact mechanism is introduced to complete the particle regeneration after the collision. A method of put forward the edge connection parameter lines interpolation is put forwarded to quickly the solve problem of non-connected edge. Comparing the quadrilateral drawing mode,we put forward a method of drawing the movement of the particles by the linear rendering phase shift technique, and the real-time performance of the system is improved. Drawing the water wave effect by the phase shift technique and the turbulent flow field to increase the immersion in the scene. In order to make more colorful fountain form, the simulation of the color fountain is realized by adjusting the color channel.Finally, through the Maya software, the three-dimensional dynamic virtual fountain simulation is completed with high universality, high degree of truth, and functional diversification.
