With the continuous development of computer technology and communication technology and the increasing popularity of wireless network, event-triggered control has received great interest from the academic community since it presents a number of potential advantages, for example, less traffic requirement and better resource utilization. And many results have been reported. However, the majority of results is researched in order to design the event-trigger condition in the case that the controller is given. The co-design of the event-trigger condition and controller for event-triggered control system rarely appear. To make up the shortage of the existing results, it is necessary to further study the co-design of the event-trigger condition and controller for event-triggered control system. In this thesis, we study the event-triggered control for linear continuous systems based on the state feedback and the dynamic output feedback and also co-design the event-triggered condition and control law. The main results are as follows:Firstly, given the linear systems with structure uncertainty, we study the exponential stability of the control system and present a sufficient condition for the existence of the event-trigger condition and state feedback controller is using the linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, we prove that the inter-sampling intervals are strictly positive in the proposed event-triggered condition. Then a simulation example is given to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the results.Secondly, we consider the robust H∞ control of a control system with disturbance and propose a sufficient condition for the existence of the event-triggered condition and robust H∞ controller using the linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, we use a novel method to prove that the inter-sampling intervals are strictly positive in the proposed event-triggered condition. Then we give the simulation results to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the results. Finally, we study the asymptotic stability of linear continuous systems with the event-triggered scheme based on the dynamic output feedback and give a sufficient condition for the existence of the event-triggered condition and the dynamic output feedback controller using the linear matrix inequalities. Then the results are checked by the simulation.
