Along with the development of social production, there is more information and systematized in engineering technology, social economy, biological ecological and so on. These fields also constantly meet new problems and challenges. Network control system is a closed loop control system through the network. Compared with the traditional connection way which is point-to-point, network control system brings many advantages, but has some disadvantages, such as information transmission delay, date packet dropout and time-disorder and so on phenomena. Singular system is a class of dynamic system of even more widely form than normal system, more general than normal system, whose models widespread many social areas. Switched system is a special kind of mixed and dynamic system, which contains some continuous dynamic subsystems, and the subsystems are connected by a switched rule. Recently there are more and more concern about the control problem of switched system. However, now the researches referred to switched singular NCSs (networked control systems) are rare. Because the models of the switched singular NCSs is widespread existed in practice.Therefore, the study about switched singular NCSs is meaningful.The main content of this article are arranged as following:First of all, this paper presents the generation and application of switched control systems and network control system, and it presents the background and current situation of the research of switched singular NCSs with time-delay and data packet dropout.Secondly, this paper introduces the foundation knowledge of switched control system and singular system, the different forms of equivalent decomposition, Lyapunov’s theorem of stability as well as a few related lemma; At the same time, for the next research work for the scene, the LMI toolboxes of MATLAB use methods are given.Again, for a class of the regular and impulsive-free switched NCSs with uncertain time-delay, suppose that the transfer delay of sytems is uncertain and assuming the uncertain transfer delay is less than one sampling period, the switched singular NCSs are modeled as asynchronous dynamical systems. The stability conditions of the systems are given, the desired state feedback controllers are obtained at the same time. Academic study and a simulation example is presented to confirm the proposed method is correct and efficient. At last, for a class of switched singular NCSs with certain time-delay and data packet dropout, the switched singular NCSs are modeled as asynchronous dynamical systems. The exponential stability condition of the systems is given, also the desired dynamic output feedback controllers are obtained.
