With the rapid development of the IOT (Internet of Things), IOT has played an important role in various fields. Twenty-first century is the information age, military construction is inseparable from information technology. Weapons storage and management have a variety of problem. The environment of weapons storage has a huge impact on the reliability and service life of weapons, as well as the use of weapons safety problems exist loophole. IOT plays a huge role on information construction of military weapons management.This topic is in the background of vigorous development of IOT. According to the relevant requirements of the information construction and the storage environment and management situation of weapons, IOT technology is applied to the field of military weaponry management. Through the installation of a variety of sensor nodes to the military management object and using the monitoring technology, the object information will be timely sent to the monitoring center through wired or wireless network, which can effectively monitor the actual weapon storage environment and the status of weapon, trace personnel and weapons. The system also can take some corresponding control measures such as warning the worker’ unsafe behaviors according to the information, so the monitoring management and the accident-prevent level get improved.This thesis introduces the domestic and international context and proposes weapon storage and safety problems existing in the process of storage and use. In view of problem, a reasonable solution is put forward, and the system also does a thorough research about the RFID technology and wireless transmission technology. Through the analysis of the actual situation of the troops, the functional requirements of weapons tracing monitoring and management system based on IOC are defined. Based on the practical use of the weapons and with reference to the framework and technical characteristics of IOC, weapons safety monitoring and management system based on IOC is designed and implemented. The main work is as follows:overall design of the system and communication program; design and implementation of environmental monitoring module; design of communication protocol and warning system; design and implementation of management software. System mainly uses the wired and wireless communication mode. Zigbee is used in the communication between tag and reader. Wireless transmission of electronic tags is mainly achieved by CC1101 RF module. The main technology used in this article includes RFID technology, GPS technology, sensor technology, Zigbee technology, etc. This system can realize the real-time monitoring of the condition of the arsenal, realize the personnel and weapons displacement detection and location tracking, and well finish safety management for weapons.
