Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) is a kind of automatic and contactless identification technology, which takes advantage of radio signal and spatial coupling(electromagnetic or inductive coupling) or radar reflection to identify the particular target and get some information from it, in order to establish a two-way communication channel to exchange data. Near Field Communication(NFC) technology plays an important role in RFID system, which is widely used in consumer and finance related fields.Because of following characteristics: low power consumption, high security and compatible with contactless smart cards, etc., NFC technology is the best choice of the current smart payment, which leads a good future. With the combination of RFID technology and internet science, NFC meets the multiple demands towards mobile portable payment, exchangeable communication and information access via wireless network. Especially, as one kind of consumer-benefited transaction protocol, NFC technology, the secure, comfortable and effective technical method, is widely used in financial transaction and personal information field. NFC technology is mostly featured by its unique security and fabulous advantage in mobile payment as for its continuous development and improvement as well as RFID technology, which leads a further investigation and application on NFC technology. This paper describes the process to design and implement a baseband chip based on NFC protocol ISO/IEC-14443 Type A. In accordance with the principles of composition and knowledge of RFID system, this paper has a detailed analysis of ISO/IEC-14443 Type A protocol from communication modes, modulation type, coding techniques and anti-collision ring. After a comparison of modulation style and anti-collision mechanism between the two type, the paper sets Type A for example to analyze the top- level interface, clock distribution and modules composition according to the general structure of passive electronic tags for designing the circuit of baseband chip module based on specified function. Finally, paper verifies the possibility and feasibility of the functions in module and the all design by the simulation waveform.
