As an important research content of the array signal processing, array super-resolution direction finding algorithm has gained more and more attention with the development of technology. Its application involves many fields, such as communication, radar, sonar, electronic medical etc. This paper works from the engineering implementation of array super-resolution direction finding algorithm. First we introduce the principle of super-resolution algorithm and simulate some of those specific algorithms. Then our attention focused on the application of the array structure in the array super-resolution algorithm. On this basis, we put forward a new method based on sub-minimum redundancy linear array. At last, we briefly introduce the advantage of using the digital beam-forming technology in super-resolution and give some demonstration.This paper first introduces the theoretical model of super-resolution algorithm and analyses the principle of the typical subspace algorithm, then gives the simulation results of the former algorithm. In the next, we introduce the improvement of the super-resolution algorithm by using non-uniform linear array. Among with non-uniform linear array, minimum redundancy linear array is the key point for it can obtain the largest array aperture with the least array elements. But there are still some shortcomings with minimum redundancy linear array, such as lacking of flexibility and poor application scope. In order to overcome these shortcomings, we put forward a new method based on sub-minimum redundancy linear array.At last,this paper introduces the use of digital beam-forming technology in super-resolution algorithm and points out its advantages in improving the信噪比,reducing the amount of calculation etc.
