With the rapid development of Internet and information technology, various industries have accelerated the pace of information technology. In the fields of publishing and publication, the ways of traditional publishing and information dissemination are being gradually replaced by new modern and networked approaches. This paper originates in the actual project "Digital Newspaper Parse" which is parsed through the publishing files for printing in the publishing industry namely Post Script files to obtain information on the pages of newspapers, magazines and other publications. The Software can reconstruct the information with editing functions for modifying information and meanwhile upload the modified identifiable information to the digital newspaper website and information dissemination can be implemented by the web providing readers with online publications. To combine the old publishing and publications with networks greatly enriches the dissemination of news & information and reading styles of communication & media. It not only has great significance for the reform of traditional publishing and media publications, but also has attracted many enterprises’ attentions.Based on the project requirements, the paper mainly aims to the parsing of Post Script language, and designs reasonable interpretative system for postscript language required to conforming to the specifications of postscript language and further resolve to the requirements of the project.Firstly, the paper will introduce postscript language in detail including its language features, file structures, data types, stacks, enforcement mechanisms, resources, coordinate systems, graphics describing mechanisms and word processing functions. Through the above researches, the implementation of the parsing process will be designed and each subsystem module will be marked out.Secondly, the paper will present, parse and design each functional subsystem module, of which the design sector will be represented by UML, and finally,employing the object-oriented approach to realize each function. Each functional subsystem module includes grammar lexical analysis subsystem, enforcement subsystem,dictionary-based management subsystem, page information construction subsystem.In the end,the paper will verify the parsing results. Test contents cover the complete parsing level of the texts, images and other information parsed by Post Script language, and the coordinate’s accuracy.
