As one of the most competitive 4G technologies, LTE-A has a higher performance requirement compared with LTE system. However, the inter-cell interference caused by universal frequency reuse has become one of the main factors that limit the performance of the system. Co MP introduced in LTE-A system as one kind of inter-cell interference suppression technologies can effectively improve the performance of cell edge users through coordinated scheduling or joint processing among multi cells. However, the scheduling method in Co MP will be more complex. How to allocate time-frequency resources of multiple cells with limited information interaction, taking into account of the edge users’ fairness and spectrum efficiency, is one of research hotspots of Co MP at present. The research of this paper will focus on the following aspects:1. MU-MIMO technology research in Co MP system. The precoding method applicable for single cell scenario needs to be extended to apply for multi cells scenario. An improved SLNR based precoding algorithm is presented in this paper, which generates new precoding matrix with the method of weighting and linear transformation based on original SLNR vectors to eliminate the disparity of performance among streams, and optimize overall performance in multi-stream system.2. Research on scheduling algorithm with dynamic cooperative set selection. Based on the idea of joint proportional fairness, this paper proposes a dynamic coordinated scheduling method under the centralized network architecture while addressing the problem of dynamic cooperation set selection, determination of users at edge and cooperative resource allocation among multiple cells, which makes a reasonable balance between the performance of the whole cell and cell edge users.3. Scheduling scheme design in non-ideal backhaul scenario. This paper analyzes the delay of inter-site interaction and feasible solution on Co MP-NIB problem, which is one of the current hot issues in Co MP technology. An effective scheduling scheme to avoid Co MP-NIB in intra-site scenario is designed. Simulation experiment evaluates the influence of interactive time delay on intra-site and inter-site coordination scheme, makes clear of the application scenarios for both coordination schemes and verifies the feasibility of intra-site scheme in high latency interaction.
