Recently, earthquakes, fires disasters occur frequently. It is very helpful to use a video monitoring system when the disaster comes. The information including sound, pictures, location of people is very valuable for others to rescue. In one hand, the rescuer go to the exact place to rescue rather than search people randomly, on the other hand, the system’s valuable information prevent rescuer form going wrong place, where he may in danger. Therefore, the video monitoring system plays a very important role when the disaster comes, and the function of the system will directly change people’s lives. So researching powerful video monitoring system is very meaningful. Meanwhile, the monitor system used in the environment where people have been kept out, failed to move or recognize people. It is necessary to alarm after people turn up in the place where is forbidden to get into like electricity station, school dormitory, and controlling the monitoring system to move where the picture needed is also meaningful.To cope with these practical problems, this project is mainly about a motility video monitor system which is easy to install, convenient to use, and cheap to buy. The system could go into the narrow place to rescue people who in trapped, at the same time, the terminal could receive alarm after the monitoring system detect stranger’s face, and it could control the monitoring system wirelessly.The hardware of monitoring system is based on the chip of S3c2440 and Linux system is installed in the S3c2440. The driver of the monitor is L298 module. Computer, phone or pad could control the system wirelessly based on the command through 802.11 n protocol. The USB camera is used to collect the video data, and the face detection algorithm is Adaboost. The system will detect face with the code of Open CV, and the monitor could change the direction with the software in computer terminal.
