Abstract/Summary:
In the process of informatization, the informatization of war is no doubt the most active. With the high development of information industry, the usage of RFID technology is very mature. RFID is an non-contact automatic identification technology, it can work under tough environment conditions without the present of human. It has been widely used in the areas of entrance guarding, logistics, information gathering in a totally automatic 24/7 way. And its use in military logistics and storage has been very wide. The informatization of equipment support is a very important part of the informatization of military. The ultimate goal of weapon informatization is to ensure the informatization of equipment in the future war field. The features of combat troops’ logistic insurance is that the training amount is very large and emergency missions are quite often, these requires the frequent redeploy of weapons and the high percentage of in condition equipment. In order to improve the fighting capacity of troops, we use RFID to track and control regular weapons. An army unit of PLA designed and developed a RFID weapon management system, the main work of this paper is as follows:① Analyzed the usage of RFID technology in military both at home and abroad. Considering the current condition of an army stationed in Zhen, we found the weakness of the existing weapon equipment management system, and then added RFID technology to the new system we realized in this paper.② The composition of the RFID system, the way how it works and its related techniques are introduced, and a thorough study of the system’s architecture, three-layer models and design patterns as well as database techniques is conveyed.③ Based on the current condition of the existing weapon management system, the author of this paper made a deep research into the army unit using his experience in the army, and found out the limitations of doing the job using hand writing. Later from the respective of confidentiality, a feasibility analyze of security, techniques and economical were conveyed, and thus formed the central functional and un-functional requirements.④ A overall design for the system was conducted, and showed in the means of whole architecture design. As for the hardware design, we focused on the choose of the main hardware items. In the software side, the modules of development platform, interface layout, login control, user management, system database, query equipment information, approve equipment apply, monitoring and alarm, maintain and retirement were designed as core functions.⑤ Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 was used to develop the system, and we use ASP.NET as the design architecture. As for data storage, we choose Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as database system. We use Ajax to improve interaction with users, and finally fulfilled the whole system. After that, a comprehensive test was conducted to show that the system we realized fulfill user’s requirements. The use of this management system can meet the requirement of military weapon management, and the shortcomings of the old system has been overcome. The system makes the deploy, allocation, usage, examination, maintenance, and retirement all informatilized and thus making the management of weapons more efficient.
