The dissertation presents systemic theoretical studies for the electromagnetic scattering from random rough surface and composite scattering from rough surface and the target using method of MOM. Emphasis is put on studying scattering from desert surface and rough surface with Rayleigh distribution, as well as the composite scattering from Rayleigh distribution conductor rough surface with rectangular cross-section column above rough surface and Rayleigh distribution rough surface with buried square cross-section column. The main works are as follows: 1. Tstatistical parameters of random rough surface, Monte Carlo method and various methods of study on feature environmental electromagnetic scattering are firstly introduced, which focused on the method of MOM. 2. The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the desert surface is studied using method of MOM,the varying relationship of the electromagnetic scattering coefficient from the mean square root, the correlation length, the frequency of incident wave and moistness of sandy soil is discussed. 3. The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the rough surface with Rayleigh distribution is studied using the MOM,the varying relationship of the electromagnetic scattering coefficient with the root mean square, the correlation length and the frequency of the incident wave is discussed. 4. The composite electromagnetic scattering from Rayleigh distribution conductor rough surface with rectangular cross-section column above it is studied with method of MOM. The influence of the root mean square and the corre-lation length of rough surface fluctuation,height from the center of the rectangular cross-section column to the rough surface, length and width of the rectangular cross-section column,frequency of incident wave on the scattering coefficient is discussed.5. The composite electromagnetic scattering from Rayleigh distribution rough surface with buried square cross-section column is studied using method of MOM. The influence of the root mean square and the correlation length of rough surface, the dielectric permittivity, the buried depth, the length of side and the placement azimuth of buried square cross-section column and the frequency of incident wave on the composite scattering coefficient are discussed.
