Chirped-Pulse Amplification(CPA) is one of the most effective method to get ultra-high energy and power laser pulse. However, the damage threshold and caliber of the diffraction grating in CPA system limit the peak power of the output laser pulse. Therefore, tilted grating is the best plan to replace the large aperture, high damage threshold diffraction grating. As a core part of CPA compressor, the co-plane performance study of the tilted grating is significant.On the basis of the research in domestic and foreign, tilted grating co-plane theory, real-time supervision of the relative pose of the gratings, real-time drive correction of the co-plane errors were discussed in this paper for guaranteeing the co-plane time-space performance of tilted grating. Finally, experiments were carried out to demonstrate the performance of the supervision and error correction methods proposed. The contents of this paper are as follows:① Based on compensation principle for the matching of the tilted grating and the rigid body kinematics principle, this paper discussed tilted grating co-plane theory. These laid the theoretical foundation for realizing tilted grating co-plane.② On the basis of tilted grating co-plane theory and analysis of its space motion characteristics, a method for measuring the spatial relative pose errors of the tilted gratings based on displacement sensors array was proposed in this paper. The arithmetic mean filtering method was proposed in order to inhibit uncertainty of the measuring system.③ Based on parallel drive and high precision piezoelectric drive system, a method for tilted grating co-plane errors correction was proposed. For realizing the feedback control, the incomplete-differential method and the integral-separation method are used to improve the response speed, and the anti-interference ability of the incremental PID control algorithm.④ Experiments were conducted to test the performance of the tilted grating co-plane supervision and error correction methods proposed. By comparing the electronic testing method with spot testing calculations, the performance of electronic testing methods to measure the relative pose deviations of the bounded planes was demonstrated. Furthermore, by comparing the tilted grating stability in the open and closed states, the performances of the real-time stability and the method for error correction were examined.
