| Reading edition of newspaper is the combination of books and newspapers, literature and news. Since the emergence of the newspaper’s reading edition, which increases the literariness of the newspaper and opens up a new way for presses and readers to associate. Weekly Happy Reading is the reading edition of YanZhao Metropolis Daily. It generally is divided into eight editions except that sometimes it will be about a certain subject. There’re three parts about the analysis on Weekly Happy Reading. First of all, it’s the brief introduction about the Weekly Happy Reading of YanZhao Metropolis Daily. The second part of this paper is the analysis on Weekly Happy Reading’s unique editing features by the comparison with Southern Metropolis Daily’s Weekly Reading and Chutian Metropolis Daily’s Era of Happy Reading. The features are summarized from four aspects, the characteristics of selecting subjects, title setting, content and format. At the same time, many typical project cases are analyzed in detail. In the end of this paper, some development strategies are put forward to against the disadvantages when it is compared with network media or other newspaper reading editions. |
