American TV series occupies 75% of global TV programs market, while the US TV series is not only the primary means of the spread of American culture, but also on behalf of the American cultural soft power. With the development and popularity of mobile media, the US TV Series uses its intimate freedom way to attract the Chinese audience, and rapidly widespread in China subculture groups. The major US TV series’ fans in China are interested in western culture, and most of them have study English for a while. As the elites who are about to enter society, college play an important role in guiding society culture. Meanwhile, US TV series’ fans have been changing by American value and culture, which comes from US media, and it deeply influence fans the way how they thinking and behavior. In this paper, using research and survey method among Baoding Students to analyze US TV series’ influencing, and it reflects the real spread situation among the society of college students, and the great impact on student behavior and thinking.Firstly, this paper described the US TV Series’ spread situation among Chinese student population, which introduced the development of American TV Series in China, watching restriction, and several ways Chinese audiences using to watch US TV Series. Then, use interview and survey to find out basic situation of Baoding student audience. Lastly, this paper analyzed viewing behavior and television ratings based on the "uses and gratifications" theory.
