Frequency hopping(FH) communication system has been widely used in modern military radio communication,radar and mobile communication engineering, because of its strong anti-jamming, anti-fading ability, and with the multiple access network and certain security ability. Frequency hopping sequence plays an important role in the frequency hopping communication system, the stand or fall of frequency hopping sequence correlation largely determines the system ability to resist multipath interference and multi-access interference, it has a decisive influence to the capacity and performance of frequency hopping communication system. In the recent years, some scholars put forward the No/Low Hit Zone(NHZ/LHZ) concept, namely the hamming correlation function of frequency hopping sequence within a certain range delay is a very small value or zero. The concept of NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence provides a good choice to further improve the system of multiple access interference resistance and the performance of the system. So, to study NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence has important significance in theory and application. This paper’s research mainly focuses on the construction of NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence sets with multiply optimal assemble.Firstly, we introduce the knowledge of NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence sets, and summarize the concept, properties and boundaries of NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence sets.Secondly, based on the interleaving technique, a new method for constructing low / zero hit zone frequency hopping sequence sets is proposed in this paper. The resultant LHZ/NHZ frequency hopping sequence sets are not shift and equivalent and all thesequence sets are within the theoretical bound. The length of correlation zone can be flexibly set under certain conditions. This method could construct multiple optimal NHZ/LHZ frequency hopping sequence sets, extend the number of assembles and be applied to many different users.Finally, based on the Shifting method, using the shifting matrix to shift of different frequency gap in initial matrix, then each line element cascade, as a single sequence to output, can construct multiple optimal NHZ frequency hopping sequence sets. This method has the advantages of simple structure, easy realization, the length of zero correlation zone can be flexibly chosen.
