Photonic Crystal Fiber(Phetonie Crystal Fibers,PCFs) is also called micros-tructu re fiber(Mierostruetured Optical Fiber) and porous fiber(Holey Fibers). PCFs and th e traditional optical fiber is ordinary on the structure, the researchers have developed an interest in it.In this paper, the transmission characteristics in the third chapter the band gap an d total internal reflection photonic crystal fiber on the photon was studie-d by using th e RSOFT software to calculate the band gap of photonic band gapphotonic crystal fibe rs, and design structure diagram. And loss simulation using the COMSOL software, and by using the software to simulate the total internal reflection photonic crystal fiber.In the fourth chapter of photonic crystal fiber and conventional fiber transmit-ssion loss and loss of fusion experiments, the selection of arc welding machine-s, the HC-1550 and the HI-1060 two kind of optical fiber by a light source and power, select the a ppropriate welding and parameters. The results show that, by optimizing the welding pa rameters of different put power and different put practice-e fusion is destroying air hole co llapse, and don’t sing factors do not match, the infl-uence on the transmission loss and t he melting loss analysis.
