Nowadays, with the rapid development of mobile communications, information construction is increasingly demanded for SMEs, and it is greatly significant for the development of SMEs to construct private network communication. Due to the complexity of network architecture and high network costs, the existing large-scale enterprise network doesn’t apply to SMEs. At the end of 2013, Chinese ministry of industry issued the TD-LTE license, and which can provide safe, high speed and reliable technical support for SMEs. On this basis, this paper proposes solutions to solve SMEs Private Core Network Based on TD-LTE.Firstly, this paper analyzes SMEs network communication technology in detail, combined with the technical standards adopted by major operators and equipment manufacturers, we adopts TD-LTE as technical standards of SMEs network design scheme; Secondly, this paper analyzes the network demand of SMEs network in detail, combined with the network architecture of TD-LTE public network and large-scale network, we optimizes its core network and designs Miniaturization core network EPC, which is applicable to SMEs.Miniaturization core network EPC consists of three modules: MME module, GW module and HSS modules. At first this paper describes the functions of each module, then designs scheme and realizes functions of each module. On the design of the hardware devices, the functions of MME、GW and HSS are integrated on one device, and which reduces the number of hardware devices and makes the core network device miniaturization. For a small number of SME users and less data storage, this paper proposes local HSS design project, that is, realizing the function of the HSS in MME module. While preserving the external interface S6 a, so we can add HSS to expand capacity later conveniently.Lastly, according to the industrialization standard of communication network test, this paper designs test scheme. Through building the experimental environment and executing the test scheme to validate the proposed solution in this paper, the test results show that the proposed solution is feasible and valid. At present, the solution has been applied in TD-LTE miniaturization core network commercial equipment engineering projects.
