Identification Technique Of Essential Nodes In Non-cooperation Network

The rapid development of computer network technology enables people to enjoy a variety of convenience that Internet brings to us. At the same time we must also bear the risk of network security. Under the condition of the network security is increasingly serious, it’s more and more important to same research about network reliability and the spared of the virus characteristic. The expanding of network also makes more complex forms of network attacks. And computer network topology become the foundation of computer network security research. Network topology discovery technology can monitoring the topology of the network in near real-time, and formed the basis of the identification technique of essential nodes in network.This paper first introduces the concept of network topology and some classical methods of network topology discovery. Then put forward two premises of topology discovery:first, for the particularity of the non-cooperation network, we does not have administrator rights of the network during the topology discovery of the network; second, in order to avoid the administrator realize the process of network discovery, the system should avoid to send exception packets. This paper select some relevant topology discovery methods to improve, for each method gives its realization, in the final is a experiment to illustrate the effect of the method.Then this paper introduces the identification technique of essential nodes in network topology, the identification technique of essential nodes is an important application of the network topology, through this technology to identify the essential nodes so that the network administrator can protect these nodes. this paper introduces the concept of essential nodes and some methods of identification technique of essential nodes. This paper analyzes the principle and the shortcomings of method based on spanning tree. Then propose a indicators base on the number of communication nodes to make up the method of spanning tree, and to prove the correctness of the indicators, in the final of this paper is a experiment to illustrate the effect of this method.
