The Internet is composed of datacenters.The technology of large L2 virtual network is one of the best importance method of countemeasure to the community in datacenters cluster.Its great significance to the data center for application and theory.Currently.OVS_GRE and OTV is widely used as a virtual software switch, Furthermore, Based on the study, a new soket transport mechanism ODV,a novel, across the data center network on the L2. is proposed.In this paper,we analysed whole architecture and implementation deeply.Comparing with the OTV,ODV sampled the architecture of datecenters,changed to single from duble.shorted the process from 17 steps to 7.decreased the times of encapsulation from 3 to 1,and redefined interface,cut down the 4 interfaces to 2,the local interface,the across interface.,and a novel format to encapsulating data packets,purposed a new rule about data packets sending and receiveing.By a new mode,BRUDP,which exchanging resurce and distination’s DONE and ACK, to announce the message of arrived,make sure re-sending the data packets which hadn’t be received,ensure the reliability,reduced the transport cost. Offered a new transmit policy arithmetic.The test of ODV function and performance shows a good application prospect, which can realizes better connectivity between data center on the L2.
