Quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM) has wide applications in many types of communication systems, because of its high efficiency of data transmission, the stability of the communication system and good value of peak rate in code division multiple access(CDMA) communication system. After the 1990 s, more and more people begin to research the QAM and QAM sequences, and construct a series of low correlation value sequences.Firstly, this thesis gives a mapping from the binary phase shift key(BPSK) to 4-QAM constellation, and constructs 4-QAM sequences by using binary sequences. It constructs perfect and almost perfect 4-QAM sequences by using interleaved techniques, gives the corresponding conditions, and calculates autocorrelation values. On this basis, this thesis constructs zero correlation zone(ZCZ) sequences based on 4-QAM constellation in different ways, gives the corresponding conditions, and calculates its autocorrelation values.Secondly, this thesis constructs a mapping from 4-QAM constellation to 16-QAM constellation. it constructs a new class of perfect and almost perfect 16-QAM sequences based on perfect 4-QAM sequences, presents the corresponding conditions, calculates autocorrelation values, and has a theoretical analysis.Finally, this thesis constructs a class of 16-QAM complementary sequence sets and 16-QAM almost complementary sequence sets based on 4-QAM complementary sequence sets by using interleaved techniques, and calculates autocorrelation values, gives the corresponding conditions.
