The "Communications on the Move "(COTM) technology can adjust antenna servo system through gesture, movement automatically, isolate carriers movement and the disturbance factors in the course of direction changing, so it makes the beam center tracking the satellite to communications continually. This function employs a multiaxis platform to complete, which uses real-time servo control system. The performance of the servo control system plays a decisive role on the stable communication.The paper took the COTM antenna servo control system as object of study, and carried out the relevant basic and applied research on\ the COTM antenna servo control system employed by the helicopter that China is developing independently. Around the performance of the COTM antenna platform servo control system, the paper modeled and analyzed the main components of the antenna platform. In order to achieve the basic purposes of the antenna platform product features, performance, measurement, and to improve the optimization purposes of the antenna platform servo control performance, the paper had an analysis of key issues and control components, such as the structure of the antenna platform, the main aspects of the mathematical model, servo tracking strategy, measurement and error analysis. Especially, the paper achieved some combination of theoretical and practical issues analysis and research such as control algorithms, parameter calibration methods, the power amplifier circuits.Through theoretical and field proven platform combining physical testing laboratory method, the results of this study are proved true, credible, in which key issues and research methods can be applied to similar conclusions antenna platform. This is a strong theoretical and practical value.
