EQS is one of the most commonly used structural equation modeling software, graphic modeling function is its biggest characteristic, EQS graphic modeling has the advantages of easy operation and strong robustness and so on. So it is widely used in statistics, measurement science and other disciplines. In the practical application, data is often distributed data, EQS can analyze the data information and provide more accurate statistical analysis theory. Diagram has been widely used in many fields such as software design, database modeling, and mathematical modeling. EQS graphical modeling tool original automatic layout function unable to complete more complex layout model and completed the layout of the effect is not satisfactory, and there is no a good algorithm for hierarchical layout diagram of EQS graphical model for automatic layout, So it is significant to study the automatic layout of EQS graphics.In this paper, in a comprehensive analysis of the existing graph layout algorithms and EQS structural equation graphics model based on, for the automatic layout of the graph model for EQS, and puts forward the hierarchical tension-repulsion graph automatic layout algorithm, the algorithm improved tension-repulsion algorithm, adding hierarchical thought, by calculating the between each layer of each vertex of the force and between layer and layer vertex force to propel the vertex motion. In this paper, the layered tension- repulsion graphic layout algorithm is implemented in Java environment, and the practical application data algorithm is tested, and the results are given. The test results show that the automatic layout of the existing EQS layout is good and the effect of improving the automatic layout of EQS is good.
