Applications Of IOT Technology In The Laboratory Security System

The Internet of things is recognized as next emerging industries that has extreme development prospects in the world. It is a brand-new field and its development will exert great influence on people’s future life, economy and society. Security system, which is one of the concrete applications of the Internet of things has been extensively used in various fields, such as modern residential community, traffic, transport and fire fighting.Security system, which based on the Internet of things has becoming the hot pot, due to its reliability of data transmission and convenience of operation management.With the technological development of the Internet of things as the background,according to the actual conditions, put forward a set of laboratory security systems by using RFID technology, wireless sensor technology, communication technology and database technology. The laboratory security systems was designed in the form of modular, and mainly included the central controller, remote monitoring, WSN environment monitoring, access control.WSN environment monitoring system is using Zig Bee technology to form a wireless sensor network(WSN), and collect and transmit the environment information of the laboratory. Meanwhile, in order to prolong the network life cycle, a routing algorithm on the basis of FCM clustering multiple hops was designed and implemented. Access control system employs a single networking access controller, which can control a bidirectional access of the gate. Finally, laboratory monitoring information database was built by Microsoft SQL server 2008. And the monitoring management system was programmed with the application of c#programming language.The system has the basic function of security system, At the same time, it can meet the basic needs of the security monitoring of the laboratory. When the abnormal situation happens, alarm functions would be carried out automatically.
