Preventive maintenance plan and production scheduling are two important factors to the effectiveness and competitiveness of a factory. With the population of more variety and minor batch production style among modern factories,the pull production theory is developed. Deliver on time and stock wastage saving become one of the standard to evaluate the efficiency of the factory. Meanwhile, machine breakdown is the main factor of affecting the implementation of production plan,so it’s very meaningful for the factory to build integrated maintenance plan and production scheduling strategies and models to solve the conflict between them by optimization and game theory.Based on the unavoidable conflict between production scheduling and preventive maintenance plan,the integrated single machine and flow-shop problems are considered in this paper under pull production environment.the main content of this paper is consist of the following four parts:(1) The literatures referring to integrated research are classified and give detailed conclusion, the progression and deficiencies of each catogory are compared respectively.(2) A new due window is introduced to build an integrated production scheduling and preventive maintenance planning model under single machine system. Two PM styles are considered, including simple repair and replacement. And this problem is solved effectively by combining heuristic algorithm and genetic algorithm. Through experimental analysis, the perfomance of the integrated model and the proposed algorithm is validated.(3) Based on the previous research, a multi-objective integrated optimization model under flow-shop production system is built. The objective is to minimize the earliness/tardiness production penalty costs and maintenance costs together. A three-dimension genetic algorithm is designed to solve this problem. The efficiency of the model is analysed and compared through experiments.(4) Under the situation which the optimization theory can’t be used to build the integrated model, game theory approach is used to to build the model in the rusumable condition, where preventive maintennace can happen anytime during the production horizon. Backward induction is used to find the equilibrium solution. And mont-carlo method is conducted to verify the performance of the model.In summary, the integrated preventive maintenance planning and production scheduling models under deliver on time situations proposed in this paper has great theoretical significance in solving the conflict between these two important factors in production factories.
