TFT_LCD is composed of the color filter panel, TFT panel,polarizer film,and module,among which the color filter is an important part of TFT_LCD as well as a crucial determinant factor of the performance parameters.Light goes through TFT_LCD to form a colorful display. Rework production line is the product of each manufacturing process segment of color filter(CF) sheet generated by the poor substrate recycling process center.After the SVA_FF 5G new production line is completed at the sampling stage and due to changes in market demand it results in changes of new product features. To meet the technical requirements,the etching liquid component needs to be replaced. The hydrochloric acid should be replaced with nitric acid.Forced Rework brings transformation such as improving etching based on the source, improving stripping ability and cleaning ability. Faced with short work duration, the uncertain component of chemical solution,the big task of transformation, and does not affect existing production capacity. The paper summarizes the key aspect of Rework process re-engineering, method and technology used. First,change in composition of chemical solution before and after transformation,analysis of kinds and operation temperature change of Etch and Strip chemical solution for the high requirements of the proposed device.And again each unit in contact with part of chemical solution influences the replacement of the material forming the device and the components.Thus,the targeted parts of Etch,Strip,and Clean module changes respectively.Again after observing the transformation of a large number of glass substrates yield at the scene,summed up the changed process parameters before and after the transformation. Finally, a brief description of the on-site and the control room communication configurations is given.After the transformation of project implementation,carrying out project internal standalone hot commissioning and acceptance,followed with SVA_FF, chemical solution suppliers,equipment suppliers’ tripartite flow sheet to test the result of the loss of volume and Rework.Customers’ “complaints” lead to dynamic project management.Talking with customers is also improves the Rework glass substrate management,chemical solution management, environmental management, and equipment management.The new Rework production line transformation greatly reduces the amount of monolithic glass substrate chemical solution consumption,and the Rework yield increased from 50% to over 85%. It saves a lot of production costs and improves the market competitiveness of its new products to customers.The project implementation method,equipment modification of peers provides a valuable experience, but also provides the basis for the introduction of high-precision equipment and better value-added services in China to expand the topic.
