With the development of e-commerce technology, online shopping is becoming increasingly important in people’s lives as a consumption channel. People can stay at home to buy almost any kind of desired items, including clothing. In the existing mode of the clothing online shopping, the purchased clothing does not often fit in size or clothing styles, which leads to the return and change of purchased items, thus increased pressure to logistics and a large number of invalid transportations. Therefore, how to implement a virtual fitting, so that the customer will be able to achieve clothing fitting, is becoming a hot research topic to enhance the efficiency of online shopping, the quality of life, with a certain research value and application prospects.With the updating of the smart phone technology, lifestyle of people with the help of the network is changing, as the access to Internet through computers is gradually being replaced by that through smart phones, to the effect that Internet is truly a “ubiquitous network, bringing freshness everywhere”. This paper presents a virtual fitting on mobile terminals other than on the traditional computers. Based on the classification of body shapes, with the input of key parameters, first, the customer’s shape type can be determined, to draw out the clothing styles selected by the customer; and second, a three-dimensional clothing model can be formed on a virtual person, to show the real to life effect in a diagram view to satisfy the virtual fitting needs. In this paper, the main research contents and results: based on the current development of the network life, anticipates the increasingly important role of smart phones in modern life, which can be applied as a tool to manage time in the era of fragmentation. In this trend, smart phones will become a tool for online shopping, which deserves more attention in the development and utilization of virtual technology.Secondly, in this paper, the objects, in the process of fitting--- human bodies, are divided into different shape categories according to the effect of wearing and key features. Respectively, three-dimensional human body models will be constructed. This will allow the customers to find their own shape model of a high similarity, after the input of key shape parameters.Thirdly, with a variety of methods of establishing clothing models compared, in-depth understanding of their respective advantages and disadvantages achieved, the final choice of clothing modeling in accordance with the needs of system modeling, is made in the paper, while the virtual fitting can be achieved.The paper proposes a virtual fitting system based on the human shape model, which can be set up according to the obtained input of key body features and parameters. But in the first phase of the development, neither the body shape classification, nor the clothing model settings is detailed enough, which means the deepening and refinement in the future. The idea of virtual fitting on a mobile terminal is also a new direction in the research of virtual fitting technology.
