With the development of science and technology, the mechanical device in all walks of life in China is in the direction of the motors, large-scale and complicated development, which puts forward more strict requirements of the fault diagnosis technique of equipment. Acceleration as an important parameter of vibration, which is an important factor that can impact safe, stable operation of large machinery, and thus it is one of the key parameter to judge the running status of equipment, with the complication and increase of application of the existing acceleration sensors, some of them have been unable to meet the needs of industrial production in some industries because of their own limitations.In view of this situation, based on the unique advantages and technical foundation of optical fiber sensing technology, in this paper, through the discussion of the F-P sensing mechanism and the demodulation, a kind of optical fiber Fabry-Perot(F-P) acceleration sensor has been designed based on the double V-shaped cantilever, the structure size of the sensor is analyzed and derived, and the optical fiber F-P acceleration sensor is analyzed based on the parametric modeling and finite element analysis by ANSYS Workbench software, then this new fiber F-P acceleration sensor has been made in accordance with the strict process, the sensor is processed in a specific process and its characteristics were tested. Result shows that the sensor has good sensitivity and high frequency response range, and could work well in the complex environment of preventing fire and explosion, which has a positive meaning to improve reliability testing of the operation condition of large-scale machinery and equipment, and the main contents of this paper are as follows:1. This paper introduces the research status and development trend of optical fiber sensing technology and the principle of several kinds of classic optical fiber acceleration sensor, and it compares the advantages and disadvantages of various types of sensor. It highlights the demodulation method, principle and application of optical fiber Fabri-Perot acceleration sensor.2. In this paper, a kind of optical Fabry-Perot(F-P) acceleration sensor is designed based on double cantilever beam, the deformation of the cantilever beam stiffness is derived, the relation between parameters is discussed, and the calculation formula of the inherent vibration frequency theory of optical fiber F-P acceleration sensor is given.3. In this paper, the optical fiber sensitivity theory sensor F-P is analyzed based on the parametric modeling and finite element analysis by ANSYS Workbench software, through the modal analysis of the structure of the sensor, the structure size of the sensor has been optimized, and ultimately the structure and size of the sensor.is determined.4. In this paper, the corresponding optical fiber F-P sensitivity theory sensor has been made and the sensor has been calibrated, the temperature characteristics, the vibration characteristics and anti-interference characteristic of the sensor have been tested, which obtains the detail characteristic parameters.
