With the development of Adaptive Optics (AO) technology, more and more astronomical telescopes need mount AO system. By the correction of AO to wavefront distortion, the resolution of astronomical telescopes on earth will be improved, and it can see universe more deeply and further.In AO system, by capturing an image of high-speed CCD, the characters of an image are calculated and control information is acquired, then the deformable mirror (DM) is adjusted fastly by high-voltage drivers. The process must be finished in one millisecond. Thus, the impact of atmosphere to wavefront distortion can be solved. Moreever, this process is faster, the correction effect is better. So, the hareware platform, which is used to process optics images and control DM, must meet the rigid requirements. Three requirements should be met:1) to process data is efficient 2) visualization is good for displaying CCD images and status variables of AO system; 3) AO system can be refreshed remotely in order to maintain it.According to above requirements, in the AO hareware platform for processing an image information and controlling the DM, Zynq-7000 all programmable System on Chip, which is produced by Xilinx in 2013, is firstly used, and, the large volume and high performance filed programmable gate array (FPGA) is attached to SoC, which is used to process image complex information and calculate control values at the same time at high speed.According to the visualization requirements of AO system, the polular embedded operating system (OS)-Ubuntu 14.10 is transplant to XC7Z045 SoC. And, application is developed in Qt integrated environment, which is used to display CCD captured images and key variables of AO system. According to the information of status variables, the control strategies can be optimized and AO system can be run in optimal state.In addation, taking into account of the system enviroment, in the AO system, the function to refresh system from remote place is added. Thus, AO system can be refreshed remotely and designer need not go to field.In the thesis, from aspects of architecture of AO processing platform, transplanting of Ubuntu OS, development of SoC application, development of upper computer application, system debug and testing, the setup of hardware platform and software design are introduced.The methods to design AO are introduced in this research can be used not only in builded astronomical telescope, but also AO system in other fields.
