Research On The Internet CDN And Realization In Changshu Broadcasting And TV Network

Statistics show that, P2 P and online video applications have been dominating today’s Internet.80% of the total traffic comes from P2 P and online video. With these applications, the user experience was unprecedentedly rich; however, the network traffic accompanying those new services also gives the service providers and/or operators a big challenge. P2 P and online video applications take up a lot of bandwidth resources of the service providers, which renders that the quality of some other services cannot be guaranteed, users’ complaint increases, and hence customer loyalty declines resulting in the loss of the customer.Changshu broadcasting and TV network also experiences similar problems during the process of broadband service development. Limited Internet bandwidth is taken up by a large number of online video and P2 P traffic. The user experience declines and user complaints grow. This thesis firstly points out that it is necessary to establish Changshu broadcasting and TV network Internet CDN(Content Distribution Network) platform, studies and explains several key technologies about how to build up the platform. Secondly, the overall structure as well as the sub-systems of the platform are studied and deployed. Finally the whole platform operations are tested and summarized.As a conclusion, the deployment of Internet CDN platform is an effective solution to the insufficient outgoing bandwidth of Changshu broadcasting and TV network, and it can improve the user experience.
