With the rapid development of the national economy and power systems, the demanding of power systems and information security has become more important.Aluminum power transformer condition monitoring system is based on the monitoring of the temperature of the transformer, it is developed to improve the transformer monitoring accuracy and reduce the transformer failure, the target of the system is to achieve long-term stability, accurate monitoring, to improve the level of informatization for the power system.This thesis elaborates the research for demanding of the power transformer monitoring, detailing the background and the significance of the subject, describes the research status at home and abroad, describes the requirements acquisition and requirements analysis of the monitoring system. Clarify the main issues to be addressed, detailing architecture design and detailed design of the system, and ultimately realize the system, system has five subsystems, include real-time monitoring, historical inquiry, spectral analysis, system settings and sensor setup software system. For system hardware, we select the FBG sensors, which have good insulation, safest, highest precision, and we select the optical fiber grating demodulator SM125, which has excellent thermal stability and long-term stability, but it is compact, flexible, and suitable for long-term monitoring using. For software development platform we choose Microsoft VC ++, it is an object-oriented visual editing environment. For selection of database, according to the actual needs of the system, the developers decided to use simple, easy entry, data storage capacity is not great for the ACCESS database system, and this paper discusses in detail the development process of the database, this thesis first by using a conceptual model of transition to object-oriented model, and then finally by the object-oriented model to physical model, and finally establish a database structure system, make the design of the database more reasonable. The system uses object-oriented analysis and design methods of software engineering, business logic and the front display are independent, so that data access, logical operation, interface are completely independent, and ultimately the thesis realizes the aluminum transformer temperature monitoring system according to the results of the analysis and design of the system. And the thesis describes the key technologies required for the system, including object-oriented programming ideas, ADO database access technology, multi-threading technology and TCP / IP communications technology.Currently, the system has been tested by run applications, it run more stable, it is in line with customer requirements, the stability and function of the system need to be further strengthened.
