Since the 21 st Century, the Internet technology obtained explosive growth with the popularity of the Internet. Gradually traditional Ethernet architecture could not meet the management needs of the explosive growth in data traffic and complex network topologies. One more advanced and more flexible Internet architecture –Software Defined Network(SDN) came into being. The biggest feature of SDN is that decouples control from forwarding data plane. SDN is a promising architecture for high volume and virtualized complex networks.At the same time, Storage area network(SAN) with FC and FCoE has become the mainstream of storage networks. However, SAN is also facing problem which Ethernet faced: existing architecture can’t solve the problems are caused by outbreak data and more complicated network. So, SDN combined with SAN to generate storage software defined network(SSDN). SAN under SSDN architecture consists of four parts: SSDN controller, SSDN switches, storage devices and servers.This article is for data transmission SSDN networks simulation test, on this basis, we propose a SSDN network, improve the flow data storage QoS transmission strategy(PFR-SSDN), and its simulation. The biggest improvement compared to traditional SAN SSDN network that separates the control plane and data forwarding plane, so that network complexity is reduced, the network can be more convenient centralized control and management. SSDN switch only for data forwarding, the forwarding mechanism, by the controller by operating the flow table to plan. In this paper, this principle applies to the transmission of data stored in the crowd, the crowd data transmission distinction, by the controller assigned dedicated transmission path, consider the use of real-time network routing calculation, thereby improving the flow of data storage QoS and overall network performance transmission.This paper systematically introduces the topic background task, then the theoretical basis of this study a detailed description, followed by a brief introduction SSDN related products. Then it focuses on the design of the overall structure and key agreement processes PER-SSDN network and OPNET, the simulation model design and implementation of their deformity. Finally, the simulation test environment, test procedures and test results.
