With the development of science and technology, consumers have increasing demand for display, which contributes to the development of display technology. With its wide viewing angle, low power consumption, high efficiency advantages,OLED become the development direction of display technology.It is becoming more and more popular in the costumers. FPGA has rich resource allocation and fast speed, so it is a good tool to achieve the display system.ALTERA’s DE2-115 FPGA and Samsung’s 800 * 480 resolution OLED display are used in the thesis. PCB board has been designed to connect FPGA and OLED display. On the basis of intensive study of command, the flow of four modes has been designed. Based on analysis of SPI interface and RGB interface,the codings of four modes have been designed.The four modes and the switch of four modes are successfully achieved. Eight different colors’ bars have been displayed on the screen. Gamma correction to adjust the brightness of the display has been introduced and achieved. Anti-color processing for saving power has been achieved. The image’s colors’ change from 16 M to eight has been achieved.The picture of display system is presented in the end.
