Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast(ADS-B) navigation technology will be one of the main navigation technologies of the civil aviation, in the future. And this was established by international civil aviation organization(ICAO). ADS-B navigation system has several working structure. S Mode working structure is the only one recommend by ICAO, and the most widely used one. And, 1090 MHz extended squitter(1090 ES) working structure is a kind of S Mode working structure.ADS-B navigation system could be simply jammed by the deception signals because of the design defect of ADS-B technology and the limitation of existing ADS-B security technology. Thus, the research of anti-deception jamming of ADS-B navigation has important significance to the theoretical research and practical application.This paper studies the anti-deception jamming of ADS-B navigation using the array signal processing, based on the 1090 ES ADS-B navigation system. The main works and contributions in this paper include:(1) A novel anti-deception jamming method of ADS-B navigation system is proposed in this paper. This method could resist deception jamming independently, in the process of communication between aircraft and aircraft or between aircraft and ground station.(2) An aircraft’s motion state consistency verification method is used to verify the motion state conformance of the aircraft, according to the kalman filter estimation of aircraft’s motion state and aircraft’s flight plan. The flying state conformance includes the geometric conformance and the flight intent conformance. This method could determine if the aircraft meet the requirement of required navigation performance(RNP), and distinguish the true flying state from the deception flying state.(3) A novel direction of arrival(DOA) algorithm is proposed in this paper. This algorithm use virtually arrays moving of uniform circular array(UCA) to estimate the correctly direction of ADS-B signals arrival when the ADS-B signals are dependent, and use ADS-B signal’s cyclostationary character to improve the accuracy of the estimate.(4) A direction of ADS-B signals arrival consistency verification method is used to verify the direction of ADS-B signals arrival conformance, according to the estimation of the direction of ADS-B signals arrival, aircraft’s position and UCA’s position. This method could determine if the directions of the ADS-B signals meet the requirement of the direction of arrival conformance, and distinguish the true ADS-B signal from the ADS-B deception signal.(5) A linearly constrained minimum variance(LCMV) beam-former based on virtually arrays moving is used in this paper. This beam-former would extract the right ADS-B signal and suppress the ADS-B deception jamming signal, according to the true direction of ADS-B signals arrival. Finally, this method will achieve the aim of ADS-B navigation anti-deception jamming.
