With the improvement of living standards, people are paying more attention to the comfortable living environment and family safety. The rapid development of information technology and the Internet’s rapid popularization lowered the threshold for smart home. Because it has a broad application value and market demand, intelligent household monitoring has become a hot research at home and abroad.Based on the analysis of current situation of the development of smart home, at home and abroad and based on the domestic CPU and the adaptation of domestic hardware and operating system, the design has realized the basic intelligent household demo system based on homemade the loongson 3a, domestic platform to realize intelligent household is solved by using the application of the CAN bus communication,video collection, compression and transmission of signal, the construction of embedded Web server technology difficulty, for the future in the field of project progress provides technical reserves. Main work is as follows:1. In-depth study the present situation and development trend of intelligent household system both at home and abroad, smart household system framework is designed on the basis of the present situation of the domestic software and hardware conditions. Using the loongson 3a processor and the NeoKylin Linux operating system, intelligent household system had advantages of simple control, low cost, and intellectualization etc.2. Set up household internal data collection and communication network based on CAN bus, and in the study based on the Linux operating system driver architecture, on the basis of design Sja1000 CAN bus equipment with the NeoKylin operating system drivers.3. Using the USB video camera acquisition, using open source software FFmpeg to encode video, and under Linux use JRTPLIB real-time transmission of video streaming media programming library. At the same time, the infrared detector was added to further strengthen security early warning function.4. Directly in order to reduce degree of difficulty of research subject, this article chose the NeoKylin desktop Linux operating system, but considering the future, home system is a typical embedded system, so in the NeoKylin system transplantation andimplements the miniature of the Web server, and CGI programs was designed and developed for remote monitoring and management system.Experimental results show that the designed system has realized the basic function of smart home, based on domestic hardware and software platform proposed a new application domain and technology route, an easy to achieve for the future of domestic hardware and software system applied in smart home domain provides a technical reference.
