As in some scientific instrument and navigation system, High-precision DA converter is commonly in needed. in order to increase the precision and noise margin of these DA converters, high-performance ±10V voltage reference is also needed. Because of the limitation of IC process, the precision of the voltage reference in the DA converters is not accurate enough for the system, so external high-performance ±10V voltage reference is needed. But commonly, integrated voltage reference is can just give positive voltage.if a negative voltage reference is also needed, we usually have to use more IC, it makes the systems more big and more expensive. As nowadays,the instruments and sytems become more smaller, the traditional resolvent is not usable. As to solve these problems, a integrated voltage reference is discussed in this article, including these chapters below.1. This article would introduce the mainstream implementations of high high-performance voltage reference in the would, and their advantages and disadvantages.2. This article would introduce the implementation of ±10V voltage reference with independent IC’s. As we should design a integrated ±10V voltage reference, this article would introduce the characteristic of the voltage reference and it’s parameters. Then this article would bring forward the implementation method of the integrated reference used the bipolar IC process.3.This article would explore the bandgap voltage reference core and OP amplifiers in the integrated ±10V voltage reference.4.This article would investigate the characteristic of the bipolar IC process which has been used. Then it would discuss the layout and trim method.5.This article would introduce the result of the design using the bipolar IC process.
