With the rapid development of market economy and the information technology, network application in people’s lives more and more widely, has brought hitherto un-known change to our work and life. People pay more and more attention to time and efficiency, on the books, people always hope can in the shortest possible time necessary to buy their own books, but due to the rapid updated bliography and book information complex, people feel more and more dissatisfied to fixed places to buy books, the tra-ditional transaction methods. Online bookstore because it does not need to store rental fee to reduce business costs, new books can be spread to the fastest speed to customers quickly swept the market etc.Electronic commerce as a global trend of economic development, will become the basic form of trade activities in the new century, its appearance, greatly changed the social economic operation mode, change the existing structure of social value in the pro-cess of creating the new social value. At present, in the electronic commerce website, shopping website is one of the most widely used, the most successful moddel among them. Through these books website, the user can make full use of the development of Internet brings convenience, the breakthrough time and space constraints easily and fast acquisition.This thesis focuses on the processes of design and realization book shopping system based on JSP, including system requirements analysis and system design, database de-sign and major bookstores system interface design. The system based on the design of a three layer of Web application based on B/S architecture (namely the browser and server mode) of non-store shopping web site and collect registration shopping and distribution and other functions in one, the browser can use IE6.0 Netscope4.0, Firefox Web Browser, the server uses the open source Tomcat 6.0, data-base using MySQL. The system based on the Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform, using Java, JavaScript and JSP langua- ge, Struts framework. Due to the use of tools and frameworks are open source, so the site has strong universality, the system and personnel requirements are very low, develop- ment based on MVC design pattern is also convenient to up grade and maintenance. At the same time page input in formation in most applications of JavaScript and Ajax tech- nology test validation on the client, improve the verification speed, can greatly improve user experience degrees.According to the functional requirements of the system, this thesis divided into the ordinary users and administrators management two function module. In the ordinary user module, but also contains the main functions of user register and login shopping cart, book list and order generation module, and in the background the administrator module, also contains the user management, books management, books information with infor- mation display, order processing and other major function modules, and introduces the realization method of each module subsystem.
