This program derives from another program in the scientific park of a University in 2011—The Management System of Scientific Programs. The system aims at the realization of information management for the universities and their scientific parks to manage all the scientific programs, such as scientific result management and performance assessment management. By using this system, program managers are able to get quick access to the information and progress of these programs, in order to make efficient and standard management, providing sufficient information for the supervisors, so that they can distribute limited resources reasonably to the right programs. In this way, they can make the best use of these resources, and promote the ability and efficiency of the entire company. This system uses C# as development language, SQL Server 2008 R2 as data base, Microsoft Silverlight as the solution of RIA application development to design and develop, and Visual Studio 2010 to write basic logic code. A lot of telerik widgets are used to enhance the performance of the system. This system successfully makes the scientific programs’ operational progress of the universities more digital. It also provides the functions of examination and inspection according to the programs’ lifecycle. This system features multiple functions, simplicity and high stability. By using a lot of Telerik widgets, this system is visually easy to operate. Most of the data is demonstrated to the users in the form of special widgets, which is easier to understand, and more convenient to work with and analyze, reducing the time for the users to analyze and respond.
