As we all know, cloud computing is a hot technology in today’s society, as a new mode of commercial operation, the user can use the platform to access these resources according to their demands, such as storage, application software, computing and so on. Currently, some well-known cloud platform, such as OpenStack, can achieve rapid deployment(such as control virtual machine, configure the network and control the user’s behavior, etc.) through simple operation panel. But with the increasing users of cloud computing, there have more requirements on the management of the cloud platform and the convenience of interactive operation. These have become an important problem that need to be resolved immediately.First of all, in order to solve the deployment of OpenStack, a deployment tool based on B/S mode is put forward, which uses the SSH service of PHP.And the problem of how to define the scheduling strategy has been solved based on the summarization of OpenStack’s scheduling strategy.The second, those three problems including converting the database information, parsing XML and Generating SVG have been solved based on analyzing SVG and topology layout algorithm,and then visualization of topology layout of cloud platform has came true. The topology shows the state property and performance trend chart of the equipment with clear symbol.The transformation of database information adopt XML_Query2XML and the parsing of XML use SimpleXML for topology and the native DOM for performance trend chart. Through a combination of PHP and SVG specification, the descriptions of the SVG’s document definition tags and SVG’s document element tags and the nested rules between those tags have achieved, and the definition of the whole SVG document has accomplished too. Finally, through the integration of SVG and JavaScript, these operations have been solved including zoom or reset the topology and the interactive operation of adding virtual node, etc.The accomplishment of adding virtual node is based on the process of creating Virtual instance of OpenStack.The advancements of this thesis are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:1.This thesis provides a kind of deployment tools which is based on B/S model, in order to let the deployment of cloud platform more convenient. 2.Using SVG vector graphics tools to present topology display and interactive operation of whole cloud platform. 3.Provides two methods of layout to present the topology display.
