Design And Implementation Of Internal Audit Integrated Information Management System In Insurance Company

With the rapid development of insurance industry,the application of information technology provides a strong support for the insurance company’s management,a new way for the business innovation of insurance company and a convenient and efficient service experience for the insurance customers.The development of Chinese insurance industry in Twelfth Five Year Plan advances that we should reinforce the application of information and comprehensively promote the construction of industry information.We should regard the construction of information as an important way to strengthen risk management which can fully play an important role in activating the power of science and technology as the first productivity, promote industry management and IT depth of integration, and improve management and service performance. The traditional audit approach also encountered many new problems. With the depth of integration of insurance company’s management and information technology, all kinds of new risks are constantly bred and accumulated. Information technology has changed the company’s internal management pattern and process in the content and scope of the auditing, changing the internal controls and risk areas, exposing the enterprise information security and computer to the fraud risks.With the application of information technology, a variety of computer‐assisted audit tools have become an indispensable assistant in collecting and analyzing audit trails. These changes forced the internal audit make good use of modern information technology to improve audit efficiency to ensure audit quality.Based on analyzing internal audit management and audit process of the insurance company, this thesis study the software architecture design and workflow management in order to design and implementate internal audit management system of the insurance company. Major function includes the audit plan management, audit operating management, file management audit, tracking management of rectification,audit process management, template management of audit document, query and system management.System process is standard, ease to operate, flexible and practical which can enhance audit efficiency and reduce audit risk, achieving to keep electronic audit records, standardizing file lending management and meeting the need of internal auditmanagement of insurance company.
