Because of the software technology’s rapidly enhancing, software system becomes extreamly complex and huge. And as the software quality line, it will get more attention. So software quality becomes a key issue in software designing and developing areas.To ensure the software reliability, there are two methods. Designing and testing. The thesis takes the issue of Global Navigation Satellite System Simulation Software Platform. When researching the reliability of GNSS software platform, a conclusion could be getten, when both using designing and testing methods, the software reliability can be strengthened. The content is as follows:1. The thesis combines to the characteristics of the test object, describing the characteristics of GNSS Simulation Software Platform. Then the test requirements and test indexes are getted.2. Designing the reinforcement designing methods for GNSS full system simulation software, designing test plan to test the object. The methods contain software fault detection designing, software death loop detection designing and data detection designing.3. Designing the overall framework of the GNSS testing tool, including the designing ideas, the overall designing, the tool structure and so on.The work of this paper is to design and test the reliability of the GNSS Simulation Software Platform, and develop a reliability test tool. The content contains: according to the characteristics of GNSS Simulation Software. Firstly, designing a test process which fits for GNSS Simulation Software. Secondly, divides the software into five parts for designing and testing. It contains Ground Control Station, Space Constellation, User Receiver and two communication modules. The test content contains the functions of each module’s functional reliability, signal reliability reliability, communication time reliability and the mean time to failure. According to the importance of all modules, then a reliability allocation ration profile model of each module is designed. Finally, the thesis analizes the test results, fits test data, predicting the reliability of the GNSS software.5. Summarizing the thesis work, including the paper summarizes and the future work.
