Furthermore, the hardware and software conditions of the Computer Technology Department are capable of the development of this online test system.In this paper, through the current situation of foundational computer course, considering with the feature of the Computer Technology Department, to emphasis the importance of the online test system. Followed by illustrating the main technique of the online test system, the system is programmed in VS2012, running under.NET Framework, using C/S mode, with a SQL Server2008 R2 database and etc.Furthermore, the paper follow the standard process of software, analyzes the entire framework of the online test system, as well as the details in designing the database. Meanwhile, specific the details of each and every module of the online test system, including the abnormal situation that might happen and its solution, and some extra discussion about the confidential transmitting of the test. The system is designed to accomplish following functions:1.Store the information of the examinee(name, student ID, class and etc.), with the add and delete of the examinee. Before taking the test, the examinee needs a certification.2.After entering the system, it ought to be full screen, without switching out of the status, to prevent cheating.3.The administrator can easily access to the system, with editing of the question and selecting of the database.4.The system should generate questions out of a random algorithm, and a timer that when time is up it will lock up the system.5.Automatically check the answers of the choice questions, and submit the result to the server.At the end of the article, it also tests on the online examination system for the various aspects of the test, these tests include: network environment, generation of papers, test, submitting answers and automatic marking, system security etc..
