A very important index of the communication equipment design is the performance of error resilience.After developed communications equipment, the performance testneeds to join the various error types to verify the reliability of communication equipment and confirm witherthe design meets the corresponding function index. Error code isdivided into random error, burst error, channel instantaneous faultetc.Differentcommunication equipment needs to fitdifferenterror code magnitude range and error code type.In order to satisfythat all kinds of communication equipment have error resilience performance test, the error generating instrument based on DSP technologyis used,which can flexibly use by software configuration, thus itmeets the test requirements abouterror resilience of all kinds of communication equipment.Based on the above requirements, and combined with the design of performance testingcenter systemabout communication equipment, this paper designsaerror generating instrumentforperformance testing systemof communication equipment, and analogs channel error incommunication system. As a sub equipment ofcommunication equipment performancetesting system, the error code generatorcansimulate the appropriatechannel environment based on ultra-short wave communication equipment by GMSK modulation, and provide appropriatetest environment for the performance testof ultra-short wave communication equipment. At the same time, the error code generator also provides synchronous data interface and the data interface for all kinds of communication equipment with digital interface.it analogsvarious types of errorcode produced by channel, which is convenient for performance testfoall kinds of digital communication equipment. In the design, this paper uses arbitrary orderrandom error producedDSPsoftware programming technology. The error magnitude and error typeof random errorcan be set by software.Combined with the interface index of each type of communication equipment, random errorcan be set to different interface properties in the upper layer software, such as sending and receiving level, interface impedance matching, balanced, unbalanced interface modes etc.The error code generator can produce arbitrarydigitburst error code.Burst time is random,and for the whole process of burst error, error magnitude can be arbitrarily set. This method can simulate the actual channel burst error, and construct appropriateerror test environment for error resilience performance test of communication products. Error code generatingdevice based on DSP technology is capable of stochastic simulation of channel error and delay characteristics, which can simulate the random error, burst error,channel instantaneous faultandthe channel time delay.This paper mainly introduces the concrete realization method and implementation processabout error random error, burst error, channelinstantaneous fault, channel delay in the simulation of transient fault generated in the process, error code insertion, simulation, testing etc. In the aspect of hardware design, this paper adopts modular design, and fully considersthe portability of the system, which provide a wide range of practical for engineering design.
