Nearly a hundred years, global warming has been an increasingly important issue. It led to a series of climate and weather disasters. To address these problems, scientists have observed the process of changes of the Earth spheres to simulate the evolution of the climate, which is Earth System Models. With further research, the resolution of the output data is in rapidly growth. And the size of the data is in rapidly expansion. In order to effectively deal with the mass of earth science data, people began to use the visualization approach quickly bring abstract data into visual images. However, some details of the data will be lost in the visualization process, we also need precise quantitative analysis. In this case, visual analysis through various means of data analysis, to help resolve the hiding information. The main work is as follows:1. Learning self-organizing properties of Earth science data. Analysis of its decentralized, multi-source, heterogeneous and mass characteristics. Design data structure consists of three layers and the input and output interfaces. Compatible with different types of data. Enables efficient access massive earth science data.2. Visualization methods for one-dimensional earth science data using pseudo-color, and geo-coordinates to label and color table, fast performance characteristics of the data; visualization of multi-dimensional earth science data selection parallel coordinates, the application of a variety of interactive aided analysis, at the same time show Contact between multiple data dimensions.3. Using visual analysis techniques for data visualization to get the visual impression, and then by the user to select the query variable and the area of interest, through a variety of statistical methods to obtain accurate analysis results, to help find the data contained in the law.4. The geoscience data processing, visualization and visual analytics technologies combine applied to the field of earth science, visual analysis system developed for mass geoscience data for solving practical problems. The system supports a variety of Earth system model output data, the data can be fast and efficient visualization and query analysis.Massive earth science data for efficient processing of data, with visualization tools to quickly and intuitively present data and apply visual analysis approach to accurately analyze the data, people quickly and efficiently understand data implicit information provided assistance Finally, the development of the visual analysis system for earth science fields, truly serve geoscience applications. The large number of experiments show that the methods described herein can effectively meet the needs of geoscience data processing.
