With the vigorous development of telecommunications, the requirement of users is higher to communication services, the higher quality of communication leads to the shortage of spectrum resources. For solving the problem of resources shortage, we adopt resource reuse, and it can cause new problem, inter-cell interference, especially the users on the edge of the cell, it will be a very big challenge. In the LTE systems, using OFDMA technology, in theory there is no intra-cell interference, but the inter-cell interference will be resovled, with the inter-cell interference coordination methods make up the shortage of the whole spectrum.In the LTE systems, the existing inter-cell interference coordination methods can reduce the inter-cell interference to a certain extent, but the users is mobility, the load degree is constantly changing with time changes, especially the load degree of cell edge is higher, the inter-cell interference will become more serious, with the traditional interference coordination methods will become extremely complex, and especially hard. Therefore, the study inter-cell interference of LTE systems is the key and hot spot.In this thesis, on the basis of the traditional scheme,we put forword the inter-cell interference coordination methods based on time reuse of down-link and up-link systems.Down-link: first, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods. Then according to the load changes over time, and in the case of serious edge load, the existing solution is difficult to solve, we put forword EFFR-DL method. EFTR-DL is a kind of time reuse, can choose the most optimal RB in scheduling time slot, greatly improve the spectrum efficiency, and multi-user diversity effect.Up-link: first, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods. Then on the basis of FTR, we put forword EFTR-UL. EFTR-UL increases the reusability of the time, and it can improve the performance of the edge users of cell, so EFTR-UL is a kind of method that can ensure no inter-cell interference.In order to verify feasibility and correctness of the existing scheme in the MATLAB simulation platform, two kinds of schemes are simulated respectively. The simulation results show that the EFTR-DL and EFTR-UL based on time reuse can improve cell-edge users performance and multi-users diversity effects.
