Design And Implementation Of Shaoxing Municipal Public Security Bureau Fingerprint Application Management System

With the application of information technology going deeply in public security organizations, Shaoxing has preliminarily constructed a fingerprint identification system, which includes fingerprint data of jurisdictions. But how to make full use of the fingerprint data in case detection is still an important problem faced by the public security bureau of Shaoxing. This work will research on the design and implementation of fingerprint application management system for public security bureau by using advanced information technology.At the beginning of this thesis, the present situation of fingerprint application and the requirements of public security bureau in Shaoxing are described. Then, aiming at the questions of inefficiency in collecting fingerprint characteristics data, irregular fingerprint data applications, the author puts forward the information technology solutions of the fingerprint application management. Finally, based on the current popular ASP.NET technology and SQL Server database, a fingerprint application management system is designed and implemented. The main points of the thesis include:(1) The thesis designed and implemented a fingerprint catalog module, which can improve the efficiency and quality of fingerprint data by simplifying the fingerprint data entry.(2) The thesis designed and implemented the fingerprints matching module, which realized the comparison of fingerprint information and fingerprint database, and gave full play to the role of the fingerprint database for the criminal detection.(3) The thesis designed and implemented a fingerprint management module, which implemented the unified management of fingerprint information and the case information.(4) The thesis designed and implemented the fingerprint data exchange module, by the module, data synchronism between fingerprint application system and fingerprint database can be implemented efficiently.Through the functional testing and performance testing, the fingerprint management system is verified that all the metrics can meet the correponding requirements. At present, the system has been run in the public security bureau of Shaoxing. According to feedbacks from users the system plays a remarkable achievement that can improve the utilization rate of fingerprint data, reduce the fingerprint application cost, and standardization fingerprint application process.
