Log Based Securit Moniting System

At present, more and more developers choose to use the.net framework to develop the network information management system, which provides a convenient way for sharing data, meanwhile, it brings many data security problems should not be ignored. Most of the time, we can’t simply through physical isolation to solve the problem, we just need the operation details.This thesis achieves as a security log module for network information management system, the main research work includes: network information management system security protection mechanism and realization. Based on the.net design and realization on a system security log module. This module consists two parts, a user interface and a system service, The study completes effective monitoring of the changes hardware and software, and user can define monitoring level.We did a lot of work in this thesis, mainly as follows:(1)We investigated and analysised the mechanisims and implementation methods of network information management system, and then we decided the enquirements and scheme of this thesis.(2)We implemented a log based surveillance system which includes two units: one user interface and one Windows Service. We use those two parts to monitor the changes of hardware and software.(3)The log based surveillance system can spy four kinds of things, like spy on the processed, spy on the network ports, spy on the file operations in specific path, and spy on the installment and uninstallment of softwares.(4) The log based surveillance system running as a windows Service, which records the log into a database system. Users can use the log management system to manage the log with authentication.
